Underfloor central heating offers a range of advantages over the more conventional central heating formats. It gives an 'invisible warmth' which is ideal for modern living. Interior design is clean with maximum, radiator free wall space. Because there are no hot surfaces, UFCH is safer and cleaner than rediator systems because dust and air movement is minimised. UFCH also has the advantage of low maintenance - there's no requirement to paint or clean radiators. Where radiator central heating systems work primarily by creating convection currents of hot air supplemented by some radiated heat, underfloor central heating systems work primarily by heat radiation, supplemented by some convection.
Because the floor radiates heat uniformly overs its room surface, there is uniform heat distribution - this means no hot or cold spots in the room and consistent comfort in every area.
